Our Rain Policy

 

We make every effort to complete all scheduled performances.  Many times our summer mountain showers blow over quickly and allow us to go on with only a short delay.  We will wait up to 30 minutes after curtain time or during the show to make the decision to cancel or stop a performance due to rain.  In the event we are rained out, we will observe the following Rain Policy:

 

If the show is cancelled prior to intermission and you have purchased Performance Insurance for your ticket you will receive a full refund.  If no insurance is purchased, you will receive a rain check good for any performance in the future.

No rain checks or refunds will be given if the show is cancelled after intermission.

Our Refund Policy

(Performance Insurance Tickets Only)

Refunds for tickets will be issued upon written request, if made within 60 days of the cancelled performance. Ticket stubs must be included with the written request for refund.

No refunds will be made at the theatre box office or over the phone.

Please mail requests to: Trail of the Lonesome Pine, Attn:  Box Office Manager, 22 Jerome Street South, Big Stone Gap, VA 24219. After 60 days, tickets can only be exchanged for future performance by calling 800-362-0149 Option 1.

What is Performance Insurance?

 

Performance Insurance is an additional $2.00 per ticket.  It allows you to receive a refund for your ticket or exchange your ticket for another future performance in the event that we cancel the show before intermission.  The two dollars per ticket is non-refundable.
